- Methi ( Triogonella foenum graecum): Diosgenin( A steroidal saponin) present in the Methi seeds mitigate hyperglycemia . It improves insulin sensitivity, hinders sugar absorption from GIT and improves menstrual cyclicity and ovulatory function.
- Shivlingi (Bryonia laciniosa) : Shivlingi Beej promotes fertility. It increases the chances of ovulation . It also helps normalize the menstrual cycle if the patient has light periods with a little blood flow. Its acts on gonadotropins.
- Putrajeevak (Puyranjivak roxburghii) : It is a uterine tonic and maintains endometrial health and improves thickness of endometrium for implantation by improving progesterone level.
- Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus ) :Aspartic acid stimulates secretion of gonadotropin- releasing and luteinizing hormones. Sarsaponin (Steroid saponins) act as a precursor of progesterone and increase its secretion. Shatavarins balance hormone levels and improve conception rate.
- Shilajeet: It has stimulating properties on oocytes and ovulation frequency.
- Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa) :- It contains betulinic acid as main ingredient. It shows anti-androgenic effect by reducing increased androgen levels and prevents ovarian cell dysfunction in PCOS to improve fertility.
- Amla (Emblica officinale) :It is a wonderful antioxidant and an anti-inflammatory. Therefore it allievates the oxidative stress in PCOS and also relieves the mild inflammation that is present in PCOS.
- Gular (Ficus glomerata): It modulates immune system and is an anti-inflammatory .
- Kanchnara(Bauhinia variegata) :It contains β-sitosterol as its active ingredient. It possesses anti-hyperlipidaemic activity and has anti-obesity effects. It decreases the level of total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDLP and increases the level of HDLP, brain serotonin level.
- Guggul (Commiphora mukul): It exhibits modulatory effect on hyperandrogenism and possesses anti-hyperlipidemic properties.
