Description

Indication: 

    • Helps to protect against viral & bacterial infections & useful in upper respiratory tract infections, cough, cold & sore throat. It enhances immunity power of the body against disease.
  • Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) St- is used for the management of asthma and chronic cough. It has good anti-inflammatory property and inhibits the response of pro-inflammatory agents (molecules that promote inflammation). This reduces the inflammation of air passages in case of asthma and cough. It also controls mucus hypersecretion due to an increase in the number of goblet cells (cells which secretes mucus) associated with asthma. Acc. to Ayurveda-it helps to balance Kapha due to its Ushna Virya (Hot Potency) property and it boost the immune system to fight foreign particles or organisms due to its Rasayana property.
  • Vasa (Adhatoda vasica) Wh. Pl- contains Alkaloids (i.e. vasicine & vasicinone); it has been used as antitussive, expectorant & bronchodilator. It is considered beneficial in cases of respiratory problems because of its expectorant activity. It promotes the removal of mucus from the respiratory tract and eases breathing. It also has a soothing effect, which reduces irritation in the throat.
  • Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum) Wh. Pl- is beneficial in relieving cough and cold symptoms due to its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antitussive (cough-relieving) and anti-allergic properties. It contains terpenoids (i.e. Eugenol & Methyl Eugenol etc). It has potent anti-microbial and anti-oxidant properties. Tulsi acts as an immunomodulator and prevents viral infection. It also has antipyretic and diaphoretic activity, which induces sweating and normalizes elevated body temperature.
    • Amla (Emblica Officinalis) Fr-It has powerful antioxidant properties, is rich in Vitamin C and fibre and has high moisture content. It helps improve digestion and relieve acidity. It is also helps to control blood glucose levels. It helps prevent aging and boosts immunity
  • Mulethi (Glycyrrhiza glabra) Rt. – it contains saponin glycosides (i.e. Glycyrrhizin, 18-B-glycyrrhetinic acid), it has been used as expectorant & demulcent. It is good for sore throat, throat irritation, cough and bronchitis due to its Ropan (healing) and expectorant properties.
    • Dalchini (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) Bk- it contains terpenoids (i.e. Eugenol, benzaldehyde & cuminaldehyde), has been used as carminative, stomachic, antiseptic & astringent etc. It helps to maintain good digestion by improving metabolism due to its Deepan (appetizer) and Pachan (Absorption) properties.
  • Haldi (Curcuma longa) Rz- it contains volatile oil & curcuminoids, has been used as anti-inflammatory. It is beneficial in giving relief from cough especially in case of asthma. The volatile oil is useful in removing sputum, relieving cough, and preventing asthma.
